Attached are the slides from the Internal Funding Presentation this week at the July Grant Connections meeting. We also had a couple Hot Topics discussed, which are listed below. We look forward to seeing you at the next Grant Connections meeting on August 22.
Hot Topics
- OSPA is continuing to update the SPPG (Sponsored Programs Procedure Guide) both with content review and updated references to University policies. Some recent updates include the addition of a Fee for Service vs. Sponsored Activity topic which OSPA will plan to discuss in detail at a future GC meeting. Also updated was the Cost Share topic which includes related forms - Third Party Cost Share Commitment and Cost Share Commitment Certification. Both are also available on the OSPA Forms page.
- A reminder - if we are subcontracting with an FDP member institution we do not need to request that they complete the four page Subcontractor Commitment form, but rather we should only ask for the abbreviated one page letter of Subk Letter of Intent. This is because FDP Participating Organizations have their Institutions information available on the site – so accessing it on the site vs. having staff complete forms should reduce administrative burden.
