Processing of legal agreements related to sharing materials and confidential information with outside collaborators

To: All MU Research Faculty,

Effective Monday, September 25th, responsibility for oversight and processing of Confidentiality Disclosure/Nondisclosure Agreements (CDA, NDA), and incoming/outgoing Material Transfer Agreements (MTA) will occur at the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration (OSPA). Foremost in this effort is the continued protection of investigator’s confidential information and the preservation of information being shared, as well as the protection and ownership of intellectual property.

Please continue to send these documents with relevant and appropriate contact information directly to MU’s central processing inbox for these agreements at agmts@missouri.edu.

If you have an in-process agreement currently pending, the Office of Technology Management & Industry Relations (OTMIR) will work with you to finalize those documents.   New agreements and inquiries following Monday’s effective date will be administered in the Office of Sponsored Programs.

Chase Bunger, Senior Compliance Manager in OSPA will serve as your point of contact beginning on Monday.  He can be reached at bungerc@missouri.edu, or (573) 882-0275.
