OSPA has partnered with UM System Human Resources, the
Office of the General Counsel, and the Office of Technology Management and
Industry Relations to implement a process for ensuring compliance with the
changes
to the Bayh-Dole Act for current and newly hired employees who are working
on federal grants. Changes to this regulation are a result of the 2011 Supreme
Court Case
Stanford
v. Roche. See our May 18, 2018,
blog post for information on our efforts to
date. OSPA will continue to keep the MU Grants Community apprised of new
developments that impact our investigators and staff.
